How to play

  1. An English word appears with one picture — but it may be the right picture for the word or a wrong one.
  2. Decide quickly: tap Yes if the picture matches the word, No if it doesn't, before the timer bar empties.
  3. Answer faster for a bigger speed bonus; a wrong tap or running out of time breaks your streak.
  4. Judge six words per round.

Questions

Where do the words come from?

Pinglingo's topic packs — colours, food, the body, animals, weather, clothing, jobs, the house and transport. Wrong pairs show the picture of a different word from the same set.

Why a timer?

Quick recognition is how vocabulary becomes automatic. The timer pushes you to link the word and its picture instantly rather than reasoning it out, and rewards speed.

Is it free?

Yes — no sign-up needed. Sign in only to track your scores.
