Tom wakes up at seven o'clock.
First, he has toast and a cup of tea.
Then he catches the bus to work.
In the afternoon, he goes to the gym.
At night, he reads a book and goes to bed.

Making a Cup of Tea

First, I fill the kettle with water.
Then I put a teabag in a mug.
I pour in the hot water and wait for a few minutes.
Next, I take out the teabag and add some milk.
Finally, I sit down and enjoy my tea.

At the Café

We walk into the café and find a table.
The waiter brings us the menu.
We order two coffees and a slice of cake.
We chat while we eat.
In the end, we ask for the bill and pay.

A Phone Call

Hello, is that Sarah?
Yes, speaking. Who's calling?
It's Ben. Are you free this evening?
I'm afraid not, but I'm free tomorrow.
Great, let's meet at six. See you then!

Catching a Train

I arrive at the station ten minutes early.
First, I buy a ticket at the machine.
Then I check the board for my platform.
The train pulls in and I get on.
I find a seat by the window and relax.

The Weekend

On Saturday morning, I go to the market.
Then I have lunch with my friends.
In the afternoon, we watch a football match.
On Sunday, I tidy the flat and do the washing.
In the evening, I cook dinner for my family.

Going to the Doctor

I wake up with a sore throat and a temperature.
I phone the surgery and make an appointment.
The doctor looks at my throat and asks me some questions.
She gives me a prescription.
Afterwards, I go to the chemist to collect my medicine.

A Trip to London

We pack our suitcases the night before.
The next morning, we take a taxi to the airport.
We board the plane and fly to London.
After we land, we take the Tube to the hotel.
Finally, we check in and go out to see the city.

Shopping for Clothes

I go into the shop and look around.
I find a jumper that I like.
I take it to the changing room and try it on.
It fits perfectly, so I go to the till.
I pay by card and the assistant gives me a bag.

Cooking Dinner

First, I chop the onions and the garlic.
Then I fry them in a little oil.
Next, I add the tomatoes and let them cook.
Meanwhile, I boil some pasta.
Finally, I mix everything together and serve dinner.
