How to play
- Choose Months or Days of the week, then a mode: What comes next? (the one after, before or in the middle), Build the year or the week (put them in order) or Hear the date or the day (listen, then tap it).
- Every month and every date is read aloud — in a British voice — so you learn how it sounds as well as how it is written.
- Dates are written day first, like 14 February, and said 'the fourteenth of February'.
- A round takes about a minute. Change mode any time from the round-end screen.
Questions
Are the months capitalised in English?
Yes — January, February and the other months always start with a capital letter in English. In Spanish they are written in lower case: enero, febrero, marzo.
How do you say a date in English?
In British English you say 'the fourteenth of February' and write 14 February. Americans usually say 'February fourteenth'.
