Flying game
English Flap Through.
EasyLook at the picture clue, then flap your bird through the opening labelled with the right English word. The wall drifts in slowly, the floor and ceiling are safe, and bumping the wall costs nothing — only flying through a wrong opening loses a heart.

How to play
- Look at the picture at the top — that is the clue.
- A wall drifts in from the right with four openings, one above the other. Each opening is labelled with a English word, and only one is the match for the clue.
- Tap, click, or press space or the up arrow to flap. Your bird sinks gently when you stop, and the floor and ceiling are safe to touch.
- Fly through the right opening to score and move to the next clue. Fly through a wrong one and you lose a heart — the wall comes round again so you can try the same clue once more.
- Clear all six clues before your five hearts run out — you hear each English word spoken as you fly through it.
Questions
Is this English flying game free?
Yes — Flap Through plays in your browser, on a phone or a computer, with no sign-up. Sign in only to save the words you meet to your review deck.
Do I lose a heart if I crash into the wall?
No. Bumping the solid part of the wall just pushes your bird back, and touching the floor or ceiling is safe too. A heart is only lost when you fly through a wrong opening.
Is it fast and stressful?
No. The wall takes about five seconds to reach you, the openings are tall, and it only speeds up a little with each clue, so there is time to read the clue and find the word.
Can I practise one topic?
Yes. Use the theme picker to draw the words from a single category — animals, food, the home and more.
