-
Waiter
Good evening. Do you have a reservation?
You
Good evening. Yes, a table for two under the name Brown.
-
Waiter
Perfect, Mr Brown. Please follow me. Here is your table and the menu. Can I start you off with something to drink?
You
Yes, a glass of water and a glass of red wine, please.
-
Waiter
Of course. Are you ready to order, or do you need a few more minutes?
You
I'm ready. I'll have the grilled salmon, please.
-
Waiter
Excellent choice. And would you like any vegetables or a salad with that?
You
A green salad, please, but no onions. I'm allergic to them.
-
Waiter
No problem, no onions. Here is your salmon. Is everything all right with your meal?
You
Yes, it's delicious, thank you. Could we have some more bread, please?
-
Waiter
Certainly. Would you like to see the dessert menu?
You
No, thank you. Could I have the bill, please?
-
Waiter
Of course. That's forty-two pounds. Would you like to pay by card?
You
Yes, by card, please. Thank you, it was a lovely meal.
Now say it for real.
