Rhythm game
Spanish Beat Lines.
MediumHear a Spanish sentence, then build it on the beat. Its words fall down three lanes: tap each lane as the next word reaches the line. A missed word comes round again, so there is no way to lose.

How to play
- You hear a Spanish sentence and see its English meaning. A row of dashed blanks shows how many words the sentence has.
- After a short lead-in a steady beat starts and the words of the sentence fall down three lanes, mixed with each other.
- When the word you need next reaches the line at the bottom, tap its lane: tap a pad, or press D, F or J. Hitting right on the beat scores extra.
- Other falling words are decoys: let them pass. Tapping a wrong word only costs a little of the sentence's stars, and a missed word comes round again.
- Finish all four sentences. Each one scores up to three stars, and you can choose a slow, medium or fast beat.
Questions
Is this Spanish rhythm game free?
Yes. Beat Lines plays in your browser, on a phone or a computer, with no sign-up. Sign in only to save the sentences to your review deck.
What does it teach?
Spanish word order in real everyday sentences, together with listening: every sentence is read aloud first, and you rebuild it word by word on a steady beat.
Can I lose?
No. A word you miss comes round again a few beats later, and there is no timer or lives. Only the stars change, depending on how many wrong words you tap.
Can I play slower?
Yes. Choose Slow, Medium or Fast before you start. You can also turn off the beat sound, or turn on Listen only to hide the English meaning.
