How to play
- A card shows an English word — try to recall the Spanish for it in your head before flipping.
- Tap the card (or “Flip”) to turn it over: the Spanish is revealed and read aloud.
- Grade yourself honestly — “I knew it” or “still learning”. Tap the flipped card to hear the word again.

Questions
Are these Spanish flashcards free?
Yes — they run in your browser with no sign-up. Sign in only to save the words you’re still learning to your review deck.
How do flashcards help me learn Spanish?
Flashcards train active recall: retrieving the Spanish from memory (not just recognising it) is what makes vocabulary stick. Flipping to check and hearing the word adds spelling and pronunciation.
Can I study one topic?
Yes. Use the theme picker to draw cards from a single category — animals, food, the home and more.
Do my missed words get saved?
If you’re signed in, tap “Save these words to my deck” at the end of a round — they enter a spaced-repetition (SM-2) schedule that resurfaces each word right before you’d forget it.
