How to play

  1. Pick a way to play. Memory: eight cards sit face-down — four furniture pictures and their four Chinese words; flip two at a time to find the pairs.
  2. Read & tap: a Chinese word appears — tap its picture from four. Press the speaker to hear the word first if you like.
  3. Drag: drag each Chinese word onto its picture (or tap a word, then its picture).
  4. Connect: draw a line from each Chinese word to its picture. Speed: tap the picture for each word that flashes up before the 45-second clock runs out.
  5. Every correct match plays the Chinese word aloud, and fewer mistakes means a higher score.

How does matching help me learn furniture in Chinese?

Pairing each picture with its Chinese word — and hearing it spoken — builds fast visual recall of furniture vocabulary, which sticks better than reading a list.

What are the five ways to play?

Memory flip, Read & tap (see the Chinese word, tap its picture), Drag (drop words onto pictures), Connect (draw lines between words and pictures) and Speed (match as many as you can in 45 seconds). Pick one from the start screen and switch any time between rounds.
