How to play
- Read the English word at the top — that is the clue.
- Each wave sends three cars down the road, one per lane, each carrying a Chinese word. Only one is the translation of the clue.
- Change lane by tapping a lane, swiping, or using the arrow keys, and drive your car into the right one before the row reaches you.
- A right bump scores points and repairs your car; a wrong car costs health. From wave 5 the right car can swap lanes halfway down.
- Finish all eight waves with health to spare — and hear each Chinese word spoken as you hit it.

Is this Chinese driving game free?
Yes — Lane Rush plays in your browser, on a phone or a computer, with no sign-up. Sign in only to save the words you meet to your review deck.
What happens if I hit the wrong car?
You lose a quarter of your health and your streak resets. You have four hits to spare, and every right car repairs a little.
Can I practise one topic?
Yes. Use the theme picker to draw the words from a single category — animals, food, the home and more.
