Pinglingo adds free "real-life" Spanish conversations, from a café order to a museum ticket desk
Pinglingo, a free language-practice site and app, now offers 28 interactive Spanish role-play scenes that put learners in everyday situations: ordering at a café, buying tickets at a museum, checking in at an airport and more.
In each scene the learner chooses a reply at every turn, hears it spoken aloud, and sees a translation in any of 88 languages. 8 of the scenes have a companion video that walks through the same conversation line by line, then repeats each key phrase at normal speed, slowly, and with a pause to say it yourself.
The scenes are free to play on the web, and Pinglingo is also available as an iOS and Android app.
