How to play

  1. A Spanish family tree appears with each relative labelled in English (grandmother, mother, brother…).
  2. Tap a Spanish word from the bank, then tap the relative it belongs to.
  3. A correct drop locks in green and is read aloud; a wrong one shakes so you can try again.
  4. Fill every spot to complete the tree — with no mistakes for a perfect score.

Questions

What family words does this game cover?

The relatives of a family tree: la abuela, el abuelo, la madre, el padre, la tía, el tío, la hermana, el hermano, el primo, la hija, el hijo and el bebé.

Why do the words include la and el?

Family nouns have a gender shown by the article. A handy pattern: words ending in -a are usually feminine (la hija, la tía) and -o masculine (el hijo, el tío).

Is it free?

Yes — it plays in your browser with no sign-up and reads each word aloud. Sign in only if you want to save the family words to your review deck.
