Roll to the Apple

Roll the dice — a Spanish direction word appears. Tap the matching arrow to move your walker and collect all the 🍎 apples. Clear the board to advance to the next round with brand-new vocabulary. One wrong move ends the game.

How to play

  1. Round 1 begins with cardinal directions: Norte (north ↑), Sur (south ↓), Este (east →), Oeste (west ←).
  2. Tap 'Roll 🎲' to roll the dice. A random Spanish direction word appears — tap the matching arrow to move your walker.
  3. Collect all the 🍎 apples on the grid to complete the round. Land on an apple and it disappears.
  4. Clear the board to unlock Round 2: Arriba (up), Abajo (down), Derecha (right), Izquierda (left). One wrong tap ends the game.

What direction words does Round 1 teach?

Cardinal directions: Norte (north), Sur (south), Este (east) and Oeste (west) — the compass points used for navigation in Spanish.

What direction words does Round 2 teach?

Relative directions: Arriba (up), Abajo (down), Derecha (right) and Izquierda (left) — the everyday words used to give directions on the street.

What happens if I tap the wrong direction?

The game ends immediately, regardless of which round you are on. Read the Spanish word carefully before tapping.

How many apples are on the grid?

Three apples appear at the start of each round. Collect all three to advance. A new set of three is placed at the start of Round 2.
