How to play
- Tap a clue (Across or Down) — each one shows the English meaning, a picture and a 🔊 to hear the Spanish word.
- Type the Spanish answer into the highlighted squares. Accents are optional.
- Words cross and share letters, so a letter you fill helps the words it intersects.
- Fill the whole grid correctly to finish the puzzle. Use 'Reveal letter' if you're stuck.
Questions
Where do the words come from?
Each puzzle is built from one of Pinglingo's topic packs — colours, food, the body, animals, weather, clothing, jobs, the house or transport — so you drill a themed set of Spanish vocabulary.
Do I need to type accents?
No — the grid uses plain letters, so 'cafe' is accepted for 'café'. The clue's audio gives you the correct pronunciation.
Is it free?
Yes — no sign-up needed. Sign in only to track your scores.
