How to play
- Choose Months or Days of the week, then a mode: What comes next? (the one after, before or in the middle), Build the year or the week (put them in order) or Hear the date or the day (listen, then tap it).
- Every month and every date is read aloud — with a Spanish voice — so you learn how it sounds as well as how it is written.
- Dates are written day first, like 14 de febrero, and said 'el catorce de febrero'.
- A round takes about a minute. Change mode any time from the round-end screen.
Questions
Are the months capitalised in Spanish?
No — Spanish months are written in lower case: enero, febrero, marzo. In English they always start with a capital letter.
How do you say a date in Spanish?
With el, the number and de: el catorce de febrero. For the first of the month some speakers say el primero de mayo.
