Delete your Pinglingo account

In the app (fastest)

1. Open the Pinglingo app and sign in.
2. Open your account menu (the account button, which shows the email you're signed in with) and tap Delete account.
3. Enter the 6-digit code we email you to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email privacy@pinglingo.com from the email address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my Pinglingo account". We'll confirm it's you by replying to that address, then delete the account.

What is deleted

• Your account and email address.
• Your progress: finished games, scores, streak, and the words you got right or wrong.
• Your saved words and the sentences and videos they came from.
• Your votes on games and sentences, and your level-test results.
• Browser-extension records linked to your account (video and usage records).

What is not deleted

• Counts that can't be traced to you, such as how many people played a game in a day.
• Leaderboard scores you submitted from the app. They are stored under a random device id and a nickname, not your account or email.
• Your subscription. It is billed by the App Store or Google Play, so cancel it in your store account settings.
