Look at the picture clue, then pull back the sling and launch the ball at the crate that carries the right English word. The ball flies in an arc, so judge the angle and the power. A shot that hits a wrong crate, or hits nothing, costs a heart.

How to play

Read the English word at the top — that is the clue.
Four wooden crates are stacked at the right, each carrying a Chinese word. Your slingshot stands at the left.
Press anywhere on the board and drag back, down and to the left. A short dotted line shows the start of the arc, and the further you pull, the harder the shot. Let go to launch. On a keyboard, use the up and down arrow keys for the angle, left and right for the power, and the space bar to fire.
Hit the crate that matches the clue to score and to hear the word. A wrong crate, or a shot that hits nothing, costs a heart, shows you the right word and reads it out; the clue stays, so you can still finish it.
Each clue builds a new stack in a new shape. Clear all six clues before your five hearts run out.

What happens if my shot misses everything?

It costs a heart, just like hitting a wrong crate. The ball lands on the ground or flies off the board, and you can shoot again at the same clue.

What happens if I hit the wrong crate?

You lose a heart and your streak resets. The right word is shown and read out and the same clue stays, so you can still finish it — but it no longer counts as a clean clue.
