How to play

Read the English word at the top — that is the clue.
Four balloons drift slowly across the sky, each carrying a Chinese word. Your bow waits at the bottom of the screen.
Press anywhere on the board and drag to aim — a dotted line shows where the arrow will fly — then let go to shoot. On a keyboard, use the left and right arrow keys and the space bar.
Pop the balloon that matches the clue to score. A wrong balloon costs a heart, shows you the right word and reads it out; the clue stays, so you can still finish it.
An arrow that flies off the board costs nothing — shoot again. Clear all six clues before your five hearts run out, and you hear each Chinese word spoken.

Is this Chinese archery game free?

What happens if my arrow misses?

Nothing is lost: the arrow flies off the board and you can shoot again straight away. Only popping a wrong balloon costs a heart.

What happens if I pop the wrong balloon?

You lose a heart and your streak resets. The right word is shown and read out and the same clue stays, so you can still finish it — but it no longer counts as a clean clue.
