How to play

  1. A Spanish verb infinitive, subject pronoun, and tense label appear — the correct conjugated form plays aloud automatically.
  2. Green letter tiles show every other letter as a hint. The blank boxes are what you need to fill.
  3. Type the missing letters directly into the blank boxes. Revealed letters stay in place; your typed characters fill the gaps.
  4. Press Enter or tap Submit when done. Correct answers score 100 points plus a time bonus. Wrong or timeout costs one life.

Questions

Which verbs are in Tense Blitz?

Ten high-frequency Spanish verbs: hablar, comer, vivir, ser, estar, ir, tener, hacer, poder, and querer — across present, preterite, and future tenses.

Do I need to type accents?

No — Tense Blitz accepts answers with or without accent marks, so you can focus on the spelling rather than special characters.

Why does the word play automatically?

Hearing the conjugated form first trains your ear and reinforces listening comprehension alongside spelling practice.

What are the green letter tiles?

Every other letter of the conjugation is revealed as a guide. The blank tiles are the letters you type — so beginners always have a structural scaffold to work from.
