How to play
- Tap a clue (Across or Down) — each one shows a picture (with its meaning in English, if you chose one) and a 🔊 to hear the French word.
- Type the French answer into the highlighted squares, one letter per square.
- Words cross and share letters, so a letter you fill helps the words it intersects.
- Fill the whole grid correctly to finish the puzzle. Use 'Reveal letter' if you're stuck.

Where do the words come from?
Each puzzle is built from one of Pinglingo's topic packs — colours, food, the body, animals, weather, clothing, jobs, the house or transport — so you drill a themed set of French vocabulary.
Is the audio French?
Yes. Every clue plays the word in a French voice, and it is read aloud again when you solve it.
